Mugen or Toda Header
I'm quite indecisive and I need some help making up my mind.
Mugen or Toda?
Feel free to give your opinions of each and explain why you chose the one you did.

buy both, do a write up on your impressions, do some dynoing, then we will tell you which one you should keep.
J/K...... seriously, i really like everything Toda makes, if I had to choose between the two I would definetly pick Toda. Just out of curiousity, why didnt you include the Spoon Sports and Amuse header in your poll? Personally I'm having trouble picking between the Toda, Spoon, and the Amuse. Good luck with your decision though, hopefully you can help me make mine.

I voted NADA.
the gains just aren't justified by the expense, atleast from what I've read.
header seems to be amongst the lowest bang-for-buck aftermarket options for our car... esp. considering how many bucks you have to fork out.
watching this thread though for dissenting opinions.

Tri-pie, I understand what you're saying, The one thing I have learned with other cars and adding aftermarket headers' is that peak HP is not always very rewarding, but power throughout the whole powerband is increased dramatically. Many people with VTEC motors that have added a good header will say the header made less power because they no longer feel VTEC kick in as hard, when in all reality the header just added so much more omphh in the lower range that they changeover was less felt. Spoon Headers have always been notorious for this on B series motors. I would love to see a Header Dyno sheet comparison with all the above mentioned headers. Also having an exhaust and intake to match the header can play a significant factor in the power produced by the header. I could definetly see where adding an aftermarket header to a supercharged F20C could make some impressive gains. This is just stuff to think about. I truly understand where you're coming from, $1200 is a lot of money for some tangled up metal pipes. If you want to hear some results I believe Wantone did an outstanding write up on the Amuse header. Good Luck with what ever you decide.

Toda, cuz i got one : ) no but seriously, i really have no regrets. It does give u a nice ommph and power is increased in mid to high range. but its all up to you, if u wanna fork out that much money. ive had mine for about 5 months now, and im still happy with it.

The reason I didn't include either the Spoon, DC, or Amuse header is because I'm more interested in mid range improvement.
Everything I have read about the Spoon claims gains in the top of the power band and I'm just not impressed with the DC.
The Amuse, on the other hand, is something I never hear much about. I imagine being Amuse it is the pricier of the bunch.
In regards to the comment about gains, I think we have all come to the conclusion that extracting power from this engine is not an easy task. I know the gains with a header on this car won't be what you would get from say gains on an LS1 but anything to help the engine breathe easier is of interest to me. I have thought about going the FI route but my intuition says to stay NA. Right now my modification plans consist of exhaust, header, AEM EMS, and possibly Toda cams should they show better results in the future. Suspension and wheels are also a possibility but lower on my "must have" list than the other mods mentioned.

Sorry for any confusion I might have mentioned B4. Wantone did a write up on the Amuse Dual exhaust and the TODA header. It can be found here
