The Toda gives about 4 hp on the top end. Gains as much as 7-10 hp can be seen at mid range. Although a gain of 4 hp overall is not a substantial gain, the gains that are achieved at mid range account for the overall picture.

The Toda is simular to the Mugen from low to mid range rpm, but but pulls a little harder at higher engine speeds.

There is an impressive gain at about 5,400-5,500 rpm

Mugen has a heatshield, that's why it get's my vote. Keeping the car cool is my top concern in AZ!

I thought the heatshield with the Mugen was a nice touch. Some may argue that it's not needed but I did notice a dramatic engine bay heat increase with the DC and no heat shield and a major drop when I put the Mugen on with the shield. Especially on the valve cover, damn that thing got hot when there was no shield.

I have the Comptech and like it noticed a good oomph at around 4,000 rpm right before vtech and car pulled smoother and with a little more purpose up to 8,600 to 8,800 RPMs .

I had Mugen, traded heads up for Toda

I wish Toda had heatshield

to be honest... no dyno but the ONLY difference I felt from stock, to Mugen, to Toda is

The Mugen and Toda were lots lighter than stock
Power wise I feel no difference what so ever over stock

I personally think 1 part for this car isnt enough...but combine the proper parts together, then the overall gains will be more noticable
