Default Music about Cars for Cars

I am trying to put together a 90 min cassette tape with songs that have cars in them or can be associated with them. I have downloaded a few off the net using Morpheous. So far I have got most of the Beach Boys eg Little Deuce Coupe, 409,Lil Ol Lady from Pasadena. Also got a few Nascar songs. Can anyone suggest a few others to go look for?

Given the recent engine troubles an appropriate one for the Stook might be: "We like the cars, the cars that go boom!"

Heh heh, I am also slowly assembling the ultimate auto-themed CD. Here are some necessary ingredients:

"Little Honda" by the Hondells!!!
"Going the Distance" by Cake
"Bitchin' Camero" by the Dead Milkmen
"Mr. Eliminator" or "Night Rider" or many other things by Dick Dale
"Highway Patrol" by Junior Brown - (ok, maybe not that one! )
Gotta have "Hot Rod Lincoln" by Pat Travers or Junior Brown, or others.
"Mercury Blues" by David Lindley and El Rayo X
Jan and Dean, The Raybeats, The Ventures, etc.

How about

Low - ri - der ???

For me the ultimate car song will always be "Green Onions" by Booker T. & the MG's.

If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand.

OK, you asked for it.

(A) "Oldies-style" songs (These are light, fun, and celebrate the musclecars and the hot rod scene of the 50's and 60's):
Beach Boys: Little Deuce Coupe; Fun, Fun, Fun; 409; Shut Down; I Get Around
Jan and Dean: Drag City; Dead Man's Curve; Little Old Lady From Pasadena; Bucket 'T'
The Hondells: Little Honda
The Rip Chords: Hey Little Cobra; Three Window Coupe
Ronny and the Daytonas: GTO
The Surfaris: Boss Barracuda
Paul Revere and the Raiders: SS396
Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen: Hot Rod Lincoln
Robert Mitchum: The Ballad of Thunder Road
The following oldies are pretty bad, but amusing:
The Super Stocks: Hot Rod City
Randy and the Rainbows: Little Hot Rod Suzie
The Matadors: I Gotta Drive
Dick Dale and His Del-Tones: The Scavenger
Bruce and Terry: Custom Machine
Bobby Fuller Four: King of the Wheels

(B) "Classic rock style" songs (These came a little later, and aren't usually about the cars themselves, but cars figure prominently in them):
Chuck Berry: Maybellene; No Particular Place To Go
Wilson Pickett: Mustang Sally
Alice Cooper: Under My Wheels
Steppenwolf: Born To Be Wild
