This must have been a very special order package.
I parked in sight of the door at a shopping center and the guy that was checking me out commented on my "sweet ride" as he was making change .......
said he had Always wanted an S2000 since he had been born (Hmmmmm, he was 20 something.....musta been an early prototype
So anyway he asked me if I liked it.....and then he asked me which one it was? The one with the six speed manual or the 4 speed automatic. I told him that they had NEVER been made with an automatic; And he proceeds to tell me about driving a MY01 with a transverse mounted engine/tranny that was a FWD. After talking to him a bit I think he really did, on a trip to Memphis, test drive "Something" that looked like an S2000 body, in fact I have heard rumors of some guy up there converting an S2000 to the Civic/Accord engine and drivetrain to take advantage of the modded potential of the lil sidwinders.......But not only must the conversion alone before "building" it up, been Very costly. What kinda Honda dealer would dare to even try to sell one as an S2000, cause that is where he claims it was sitting.........Isn't it just pure F$@#ing amazing..........
Course there is also the chance that he is very delusional and made it all up,
or he is just full of stuff as a Christmas Turkey......
Anyway has anyone else heard of anyone really and for true doing such a grusome hybridization as this?

Once, I was at the bank, and some lady asks me just that. I tell her no, it's a S2000, which is a totally different car. She insists that it's a new Del Sol, as if I'm a freakin' idiot and don't know what kind of car I own.
