Just installed my Muz Mat, thanks Muz! Question is this: has anyone just layed it in the rear well without using the velcro? Seems like it would stay in there OK without it. Or does is just move all over the place witht the top up? thanks...

Mr. Bill,

In my experience with rear well mats, they will remain in their proper position without tape or velcro as long as either the top is down, or when the top is up the windows remain up.

With the top up and the windows down, I have found that anything in the roof well area is blown around quite a bit.

I have chosen to secure my roof well mat.

James

With the top up and windows down there is a lot of turbulence, and the mat will move. Just leave all the velcro on the mat, peel the tape and stick it in the well to locate the velcro properly.

Hey guys, I assume the side the velcro came attached to is the bottom. True? (the side that looks like carpet loops).

Most here would agree it is a must have item. Yes it installs as it came......just peel and stick, this will align the velcro. Also make sure theres no dust or dirt...clean the surface and let dry.
