Guys-

I have a black MuzMat which I never installed in my MY00, do you think putting this in my 2002 (if it still fits) will:

a) Further keep the glass window clean and scratch-free
b) Scratch the glass window
c) Neither a or b, won't make any difference

Thanks,

Mike

I'd put it in just for the look of the thing, my black/black p-muz mat looks great back there!

on (b) Doesn't the window sit at an angle and scarcely touch the well anyway? (Not a rhetorical question I really don't know!)

I have heard that the new glass window sits at a slight angle when folded down, and that the top doesn't fold down quite as far as on the '00 and '01 models. If this is in fact the case....then it seems that anything you might put in the roof well (Mat, towel, or other), would possibly cause it to fold down even less???? I haven't actually seen the fold down difference of the '02 compared to the others yet, this is just what new owners have commented.....

That's correct. From what I have seen on some members' new 02's the rear window sits at approx. a 30deg angle in the well. I don't think the mat would have any qualitative effect.

And on a lighter note, SHAME ON YOU, MIKE, for not even lowering the top yet. It's sacriledge.
