Default MY 02 right rear Strut is leaking.....HELP!

I was installing my Spoon rear lower beam this after. My neighbor told me to check my right rear strut. I was like what? He said its leaking....ofcourse I didnt beleive him. But he pointed out that I have a lot of grease and dust stuck on the coils (top 3 coil) and portion on the frame. I try to think otherwise...could it be from the roads and all.

But I can't find anything. No signs of it....all other suspensions are fresh and clean besides this one!!!

Anyone have experinse?

Pics should follow by tomorrow when sun is out!

Not on the S2K, but I had shocks on my 99.5 Audi A4 which were leaking and were replaced under warranty by Audi. They actually dropped some fluid on my garage floor.

If your shock has leaked out, you will have no damping whatsoever from that corner. To test it, push down on that corner of the car (compress the shock a bit) and release - if the corner springs up and down a couple times, your shock is junk, if it settles after 1 cycle you're fine. Also, shocks don't have grease in them, they have oil, very similar to used brake fluid in appearance and feel. It's quite possible that you topped your strut out and blew the seal (especially if your car is lowered).

Hey DC, my stock 01 suspension is in a corner on my bedroom floor right now. If you need to borrow a right rear, you're more than welcome. Not sure if the 01 is any different from the 02, though. Make sure to try to get it warrantied first!
