If you actually want to use the cover, it does get easier. I've used mine maybe 10 times in three years.

Put it on and take it off three or four times and the snaps loosen up - at least mine did.

As for the stares - get used to them! You can't sneak up an anybody with this car. Once you get it broken in, I'd be interested in comparisons with your M3.

05 berlina

Delivery with 3 miles on it. Dealer did a lousy job prepping the car, and I shouldn't have let them wax it. Other than that they treated me like a king (well I bought an 05 Pilot too so maybe thats why.)

Car fits me like a glove. I absolutely love it. This car is one of the best kept secrets in today's auto world.

This car gets way more looks than my 04 M3. I was surprised. Driving it home from the dealer, I noticed people turning their heads to look at it as they passed me on the left.

Questions for the veterans:

1. For quick top down jaunts, do you put the cover on?
2. When placing the cover, I have trouble with the snaps behind the seats (step 1). Is there a trick to getting them both to snap in place. It seems I try to stretch it on and I cant get both to snap in at the same time.
3. When do you guys do your first oil change? Are you using synthetic?
4. What special soft top care do I need to be doing.

Thanks guys.
V9, gorgeous car. The black is absolutely stunning. The day I bought mine, I had to decide between a black and a silverstone. Tough decision. Every time I see a black one I hear that little voice say "I shoulda...". A car that nice should be protected by a clear bra. $500-$600, worth every penny. HIGHLY recommended. You should be able to find a dealer on line. I had a pro do it, a 3M product. Looks factory.

The OEM oil has special additives - probably molybdenum - to help prep the engine. Honda recommends leaving it in for the full interval - 7500 miles for normal driving.
Yes, here is the bulletin on that.

I use the boot all the time. I think it really finishes it off. Once you get used to it, it's real easy.

Yeah I'm definitely doing the 3M clear bra. I have it on my other car and its worth every penny. Getting it professionally installed.

I searched long and hard for a black S. I had to drive 150 miles for this one but it was well worth it. I love the way black looks on this car.
