Curious. I like the idea of fly by wire, traction control and flashable ecu. Does the car weigh the same/more? How does it drive? It seems it would be a great candidate for hop ups as tunes would be much easier especially with FI.

 

Weighs 20 lbs higher as per specs.

 

The drive is more neutral compared to my previous 03. Higher tendency to understeer, but it will oversteer too. I find it easier to drive fast down local country roads, but find it more difficult to find the limit.

In my 03 the car would get a lot of bump steer in higher speed corners. That's gone in the 06, but the car does lean more.

The 06 doesn't kangaroo or stutter in traffic. A combination of the DBW and new ar filter must have cured it. This is great news as it really annoyed me when stuck in traffic on hot days.

Overall I love the 06, much better interior, slicker gearchange, gorgeous alloys and the engine sounds better. (note - I have still got the F20C - UK car).
