Default My car is leaking please help.

Today was the first time I took my car to work and it rained on me. It wasn't pouring or anything just scattered showers for a straight 3 hours. Well when I got off work I noticed that the passenger seat was wet and then I looked at the window and water was getting in. Any ideas how to fix it?

If it's under warranty take it to the dealer.

I'm sure you've already checked the obvious (window rolled up all the way, top latched securely...) Aside from those basic things, you might have to readjust the window. I've seen the process detailed in the Helms manual, but I didn't look at them very closely.

This sometimes comes from people leaning on the window while the door is open, or using the window to close the door. The owner's manual even says to not do this because it will cause a leak condition. Every time someone uses the window to close my door, they're going to get punched in the arm.

yes both was checked. But there is one thing I did do, after locking both latches I pulled back on the top switch to secure it. Would that have made any difference.

Why did you do that ? It is totally unnecessary and will only make it harder to release the roof next time you drop it.

I suspect this is the part of your problem. If you had to pull back on the switch I assume you did it because the latches were loose. If this is the case then they should be tightened. When you pull back on the switch you are moving the roof back and create a gap between the front of the roof and the top of the windscreen - I think there is a good chance this is the cause of your problem.

Tighten the roof latches and get a good snug fit so no air or water can enter.

Now you're also putting stress on your top motors!

I didn't know it was putting stress. Well my latches are loose but it did rattle at times. And I read on this board that by pulling back the switch it tighten the latches and it did work but I did not know it was putting stress. Well I learned my lesson.

When your top motors operate, they are used to the top "giving". When the top is locked down, they don't "give" thus putting an undue strain on those motors.
You didn't mention what year your car is but, if your latches are rattling, did you know there is a TSB for that? You can have the "heavy duty" hardtop latches put on and this will fix this (assuming your car is not a newer model that already have these latches). Or, you can try to tighten the screws that hold your stock latches in place but I'd let the dealer do it if you don't want the hassle. It should be a warranty item. It is not uncommon for these screws to rattle loose. If you do have the newer latches already, have them tightened with Locktite.
Also treat your window rubber seals with some silicone (either the Honda grease or any other brand like GM Silicone Emulsion or rubber safe silicone spray). This will help preserve the rubber and help with the rain leak thing. Do this a couple times a year to keep them healthy.
