Great build thread and me being a track addict as well I can totally understand where you are coming from. Don't let the detractors' words faze you. Your car, your build, your enjoyment.
My old car (1992 NSX) was slowly morphed into a track machine and I heard similar things from NSXers who think the car should only see sunny days and be dusted with a diaper. Cars are just cars, depreciating assets made to be driven and enjoyed. You just happen to do both a little harder than the average bear
