So weeks ago when I was at the DMV registering my car I applied for a custom tag. I was wondering if I'd have a problem but the lady at the counter didnt have a problem with it and the computer didnt reject it like some plates I had experimented with online.

But today in the mail I received a letter from the DMV where they informed me that my personalized plate "HOLYSHFT" was found to be in poor taste and would not be issued!

oh well thats life, back to the drawing board I guess....

i think i might remove the O and try for HLYSHFT!! and see if that flies. I love NC's 8 Chars and punctuation counts as 1/2 char.

 

I like that plate, I haven't heard/thought of that before.

I was going to get IEATV8 but thought that I might get keyed, and that adding the 4 for inline 4 might make it a bit more confusing to the troglodytes that might spit on me or something

years ago my mustang had the plate CHVYEATR, very easy to decipher

my VR4 has the plate 3LVPRETR (tried to continue the trend), and I'm turning that bastard in cuz no one can figure out that its supposed to say 3 liter viper eater

 

 

If I ever get a Z06 my plate would say "ZOHHSEX"

 

It is a bit more confusing, but I just think that it might be safer. I'm scared of being spit at/keyed and stuff
