Default My experience with ordering from Evasive?

I ordered some lug nuts from Evasive Motorsports last week. I was a little upset about the $12 shipping charge, but after all the local shops turned up nothing, I went ahead and ordered them. When they arrived, I was disappointed to see they were aluminum. Having a bad experience with aluminum lugs before, I called Evasive to return them. To my surprise, they said there will be a 30% restocking fee! F'in 30%! That is the highest restocking fee I have ever seen. Does this sound right to you? By the way, no where in the product description does it mention the material the lug nuts are made of, that is my fault for not asking. Lesson learned.

I think most of the time the restocking fee is a way to try to convince you just to keep what you got cause its not worth returning. If it was somthing that had ALOT of packageing and such it might be different.

An exhaust, maybe. Lug nuts, no. Never used the part, so I feel cheated. Sad part is I ordered a $300+ item from them within days of the lugs....Must go now.

Your fault for not asking about the aluminum but the 30% restocking fee is just ridiculous!

I've ordered a lot of things from Evasive and I have had nothing but good experiences with them. Maybe I'd feel different if I was in your shoes, though. 30% fee is pretty excessive, especially for lugs... Maybe they'll take care of you if they get wind of this thread.
