Default My first door ding :(

A minor speedbump compared to some of the other misfortunes I have seen or read about here, but my weekend is ruined.

I came home from a 5 day business trip to find the cover had been taken off due the high winds, and saw a small round bump about midway down, and between the gas cap and the driver door.

It shouldn't be too bad a repair, my only concern is that it may be difficult due to it being only about an inch from the edge of the door crease.

The neighbor who did it, ( I measured the distance from the groud to the ding, and it matches the curve in the rear door of their Saturn), and while the couple "doesn't remember doing it", they have offered to pay half.

Isn't that nice?

I explained I can afford to fix it on my own own and my bigger issue is that whoever did it, did it and walked away.

They will be told where they can shove their money should they ever mention it again.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Eddie

They said they would pay half? You have the proof... call your insurance or something... don't let them get away with it... that's what I would do if I had a s2000
