This august, I plan on driving my '00 AP1 to Vegas from southern Cali and I need to make sure my AC is working perfectly. I recently noticed a slight clicking sound when I turn the AC on. I hear this noise a little bit without the AC on, but hear it even stronger when the AC is on. What is this? I never heard it before. Sounds like its coming from underneath my car somewhere, not the engine. Also, Im gonna have my car checked out just to make sure its driveable to Vegas and back this summer! So what should I have the mechanic inspect? Im gonna install my AEM V2 CAI before I drive to Vegas too. The drive to Vegas will be around 5 hours.

 

it maybe its the ac clutch, As long it blows cold you should be fine. when you have your car checked out, point them out the issue.

5 hr it took me 2 1/2 hrs when I went.

 

because 5hrs in NYC gets you 20 miles away [/exaggeration]
