MY01 (black) has seen its better days up front. Mainly its my front down spoiler and bumper thats all chipped up (almost looks like road grime). My hood is a little chipped, but a good wax job still seems to make it look good.
Any suggestions to make the spoiler and bumper look better? (from a distance, it looks faded).

repaint bumper for $350

buy 3m clear bra (invisible tape) to cover your front bumper/fender/hood/rear bumper, saves you money and looks like its not even there.

Unfortunately, I've recently spent money upgrading the stereo. The wife is not so happy with me constantly spending money on the car (ie.. $350 for paint). She's not a nag, but we have two boys that need to be fed and eventually go to college.

I was hoping that I could spruce it up (hide it) with a cheaper solution. (probably just kidding myself).

Anyway, I will probably have to live with it the way it is. I guess I'm a little fanatical about the cars appearance.

repaint, put on a clear bra, and forget about everything
this sounds like it really bothering u(judging by other threads) so make your move

 

Go see a good body man and see what he'll charge you to re-paint it.

 

 

I just had a new bumper painted and installed. How soon can I put the 3M clear bra on it?
