Get a car bra. Although I think those are fugly.

 

Modern paint systems don't outgas like the old solvent based paint systems, and very little outgassing takes place. Therefore, you can put a clear bra on right away. The clear bra manufacturers even say that you can.

I have a MY00 and I think the same thing. There is nothing worse than detailing a crappy looking hood and nose. It makes you feel like a loser in life. My car is getting a total paint job in a couple of years and I am going to paint her the Lincon LS/ Navigator black. Those cars have the best black paint jobs in the world! They are so glossy. I have a neighbor who has a MY00 LS and she never got it waxed and it looks way better than mine. And I get mine waxed every 6 months. Doesn't that suck!

 

Dont drive so close behind other drivers. Mine is a daily driver and the couple small chips i do have are from the autobahn in germany where it doesnt matter how far away you drive because when people are doin over a 100 all the time rocks fly pretty far.
