Thanks!

I stitched it to the stock carpeting and it also had felt backing so that also grabs like velcro and keeps it secure.

Douglas2000, ha doesn't look bad, ya you got some wrinkles but ha this was a first attemped at it and a good one at that. If you do try it again DON'T pull the material tight, leathette stretches so when you pull it tight then stitch it and let then let it go it will wrinkle on you. So if you do it again just lay the material together then stitch it. Hope it works out better next time, but do keep trying...

I really think that the stock carpet looks just fine... quite different
than any other leather or plastic centers...

Doug,

Straight dope! I think you did a fine job. You ought to be very proud of the work you put into it. It's amazing the effort that owners will make to personalize there vehicles. GOOD JOB!

Cheers

Jeff

Luis did the first console cover (before Rick) and used rounded edges that look pretty good. I did not find a real good pic but there is one here:

Thanks for the comments guys.. And the pic of Luis' console is exactly what mine looked like before I stitched it, I may have to just go back with the rounded edges.. hehe

Douglas...you have a $32,000.00 car!

Spend the extra money to make it look like it belongs there. Gotta love the Black, kind of a teaser for me as I wait for my 2002.
