I think it looks pretty darn good for a home made job. Good work.

Ummm, looks a little "Glad Bag-ish". Maybe you can tighten it up a little more to reduce the wrinkled effect?

If you're really a cheap bastard, just leave it stock and save the money that you spent for your...ummmm... I'll be nice and just call it a "mod".

Don't think it looks too bad. I'd do it again but hold the leatherette fabric tighter when stitching it so it won't gather up like that and have a smoother finish but overall not bad. I'm a cheap *ss myself but I gave into Rick's cover & boot. Making my own crossed my mind but no time.

I may have to hand stitch it if I decide to redo it. I used a friend's sewing machine to stitch this one. Or I may go with Rick's design and not stitch it to the factory carpeting like I did with this one, just stitch it in itself and use the industrial strength tape to just tape it to the carpeting.

You definitely have one thing going for you...you were smart enough to choose your S2k in the correct color.

Black S2k's have been dyno'd at 20 HP more than any other color on a regular basis. I am happy to say that I too was lucky enough to choose the fastest and best looking exterior color. Of course, I mean no disrespect to all other S2k owners that were not as fortunate to have been informed of this additional HP fact before they chose their colors. It only cost me $2000 on the side to my salesman for informing me of this oft unknown bit of info.

All S2k's are beautiful. Some are just a little more beautiful than others (that extra 20HP helps a lot too).

Oh yea, the console looks fine. However, I'd opt for the beautiful and relatively cheap $150 for Rick's.
