I've been thinking for the last six months the things that I should do with my S2000. I searched everywhere and discussed, learned, exchanged ideas and I finally decided to go for J's Racing.

So, because am so crazy and in love with my S2000 I decided to create this topic as a diary with the development that will be done during this project until the completion of the specific project. I will include here everything involved (decisions/discusion/progress/implementation etc). Perhaps this will be useful information for the S2KI Community.

So why to go J's Racing?

To be honest the main reason is because of the information that I have gathered through the net and also from J's Racing information given, as well as their products which I find impressive.
Another reason is that I want to do something different than anyone else (at least around here in Greece). Few local owners have chosen Spoon, Mugen, Toda etc, others have only fitted a Supercharger, Turbo.

So the past week I've been around at J's Racing local represenative "R-SPEC" (which also supports and supplies all over Europe other products as well). We had plenty of discussion of what we could do together, plus they want to develop an S2000 exclusive with J's Racing products.

The outcome is to have all the following products listed fitted on my S2000 and everything will be done not at once but eventually.

Here is the list of what is involved for a starting point. I have also included the product codes as well in case someone wants to have more specific information about them.

On a later and final stage will be the development of my engine which will be send to J's Racing in Japan to be "treated" nicely!

What will be the purpose of this? going to race your car?
if I would go for NA tuning these days, I would look no further than J's too

 

Well, I will have to answer that I dont have the big bucks available and I know this project is going to need plenty of money involved. Thats why all the mods will be done on a slow rate and personally I will enjoy every moment of it.

There is no specific purpose making my S into J's. I want to do something unique and I also know that J's Racing is one of the top japanese developers for the S2000 (and not only). Eventually my S at least in my eyes and in Greece will be unique since there is no J's Racing S2000 yet (until now ). So... I find it very interesting to see and live with the development. (I found a very expensive hobby I know ).
