The location of the intake is not as low as many think, plus there is a drain hole for such care. Surely it is lower than OEM's original position but I have been driving around at rainy conditions, passing as well through small areas tha water is been gathered. As any other sports car once you are under this conditions you drive your S slowly. If you find yourself driving like a lunatic through a "lake of water" you could jeopardize your car. In general am not worried for hydrolock with the J's Racing Tsuchinoko Intake.

Here are two pictures as well showing the position of the Air Duct. Believe me, it is hard to get the water all the way up there.

What hardtop is that Marios? Have you had is sprayed in 2 colours? I just got a Mugen one and not sure whether to get parts of it in a different shade.

DBM - it's a Mugen HT like yours. Not sure if it is painted - I think he may have left it CF.
