I've got J's intake and headers waiting to install... Pls let us know something like; sound, sotp feel, dyno gains?
First, the sound has changed completely. Especially the engine sound is more aggressive (but a nice aggressive sound). You can hear the difference of the sound especially from the J's headers (the whoooss effect )!

So far I have the following on my S2000.
J's Racing Tsuchinoko Intake System
J's Racing Headers
J's Racing Dual Titanium 60 Exhaust

Next thing in order is the J's ECU and J's TB. Then... I will do a dyno, but to be honest, how am I going to simulate the air speed that goes to the Intake during the dyno!

As for the performance I've been going around the city hitting redlines all the way! You can feel the additional kick and power of the J's Racing goodies!

The good thing is that as long as you increase your speed the more air is pressed to the Intake. The S now is more responsive on the throttle!

Am expecting more power once all the metals get really burned ()! Oh and today I will reset my ECU and hit v-tecs and redlines all day long!

By the way what do you mean "sotp feel"?

Hey, am doing it slow as well!

Am posting some pics and info of my J's Racing new headers and later on I will post pictures of the J's Racing Tsuchinoko Intake!

Here is a picture of both OEM & J's Racing headers!

Here below is a picture of the headers fitted on the engine just before I fire her up.

And these are pictures after a couple of minutes while the engine was idle running. Nice colour huh? Man... those headers turn into gold!

The instalation of the header I must say it was very easy. Just a quick "how-to" is simple as that. Remove the black heat shield and then un-bolt the top bolts as well as the bolts of the lower part that connects to the cat. You will have to put some anti-corrosion oil just to get them moving easier. You will have of course to lift the car up to make your life easier. Also remove the right foundation/mount of the engine in order to slide the header from below. Note that you will have to support your engine weight before you remove the foundation/mount. Once you do that, you just remove also the metalic flange and replace it with the new one. Also remove the "thingy" that links/connects the headers with the cat and place the new one as well. Now, just slide up the new header and start bolting everything back on. Dont forget the engine mount! And there you go... New J's Racing header installed.

So once the header was fitted it was time to start the instalation of the J's Racing Tsuchinoko Air Intake! This is a real beauty!

The first thing to do is to remove the OEM filter box and the plastic angled airhose. Not a hard thing to do, just remove the three bolts that holds the airbox and take off the rubber connections from the angled airhose!

At the end you will have a great empty space in your engine bay as the photo shows.

As you are all aware you have to cut the plastic cover that is behind the front bumper in order to pass the snorkle!

Here is the photo after cutting it. You can see the space created.

Then you can slide in the snorkle from there and you just fit the J's Racing Tsuchinoko Air Intake.

The kit just bolts on... it is a very easy install (DIY). Just fit the hoses back on to the new Intake and here is what the engine bay looks now.

Some great photos!

Just a quick note for those that have their OEM hood! (ME!)
You will have some to do some cutting under the hood with a small dremel tool in order the hood to be able to close in position.

Here is a photo before starting cutting the hood.

Cutting in progress...

And the final result by fitting some rubber to make it look nice!

J's Racing all the way!

Nice pics Energetic. Drive the car more and you'll notice the manifold (header) will change colour to blue!!!
