Being a veterinarian I have a suggestion for you. You need a product called "Urine-Off" it is only sold at veterinary offices. It will completely neutralize the urine odor. You still may need to remove the foam to do it right, but you could try using a syringe with a needle (also procurred from the vets office) and inject the solution through the pores directly into the foam. Let it dry and you should be done with it.

Could "Urine-Off" be used on leather? Just making sure.

Whatever you do,don't harm the cat.
It probably pissed on the seat, because there was akready some kind of odor on it.!!!
Is the cat a male or a female ???

Male

Don't be pissed at the cat, you are the one that left your top down outside where the animal can jump in your car. The cat didn't do this to spite you.

Not sure why people let pets rome freely outside, it's dangerous for the animal. The cat or dog could get hit by a car (or cause a crash that injurs another person), the animal can be infected or physically hurt by another wild animal, etc. Being that chickdr is a vet I'm sure he/she will agree with me on this.

I'm not harming the cat. But, all this anger really isn't healthy for me.

There is truly nothing like the aroma of cat piss. Have your parents talk to the cat and ask him why he did that. Perhaps therapy is in order.

You can try what I did when a friend of mine spilled an entire cup of coffee on my drivers seat...

Basically what we did was unbolt the seat, remove it... and then we dumped about 3-4 gallons of near-boiling water thru the seat, along with just a touch of upholstry cleaner. We used a shop vac to suck out all of the water thru both the top and bottom of the seat. (maybe replace upholstry cleaner with Urine-Off as chickdr mentioned)

I have red leather, so I saw a tiny bit of the red dye come out the bottom, but it was very minimal, and you can't see any colour fading on the top of the seat.

We also cleaned all of the carpet on the floor underneath the seat in much the same way, but with less water and more scrubbing.

You can't even tell there was an entire cup of coffee dumped in there now

I'm thinking a group session with all of you. Or just kick the cat in the n**ts.
