Default My poor, poor S2000

I installed a K&N FIPK on it night before last and I just can't keep flogging it every single chance I get to hear that glorious intake roar right up to the rev limiter. Every time I pull in my garage, I have that slight burning/been running the crap out of the car smell. I must have redlined it at least 50 times yesterday evening out driving around.

Does anyone have any suggestions for improving the sanity of my driving short of taking the intake back off?

It'll wear off eventually. Then you'll need something else to satsify you.

I installed the K&N a couple of weeks ago, and I can't stop myself from "playing" with it. Almost like a musical instrument that can be modulated with your right foot. Third gear is my favorite because you get such a nice tone for the longest period of time. The vtec crossover point is amazing. I don't think I actually get any more "go" out of it, but it's a hell of a lot of fun!
I got mine from Crutchfield for $269, no tax/shipping. I know there are better prices around, but Crutchfield is great to deal with. Fast shipping, and they stand behind their stuff.

just make sure you check your oil level often and let the car cool down sufficiently at low RPM's before you do pull it into the garage..
