Thats pretty cool, The s could always use some camera time. To bad it already happened I was going to tell you to put some damn springs on the car so it doesn't look like a 4x4
Its lowered now, they filmed that a little after I got it. Heres my car now below and the weather is getting better so I'm starting to get calls for movies but I can't find time to do it between my real job.

I apologize for reviving an old thread... I'm a manager at Best Buy and I saw my car on every big screen in the store for the trailer Mad Money and it revived my thoughts. Hopefully one of the calls I get to do a movie will turn out to be on one of my days off.

Well today while boringly waiting to go onto the movie set. The Transportation Manger for Harold & Kumar 2 came in and asked who drove the blue Honda. I raised my hand. He pulls me aside and says, "I took a few pictures of your car and was wanting to see if you were interested in letting us use it for a night for a scene outside of a Cross Lake home thats supposed to be like a Miami type home. We want Miami Vice looking vehicles (ferraris, lambo's, lotus', etc.) and yours is pretty exotic." So of course I show interest. I fill out some paperwork and he gives me a map of how to get to the house on Cross Lake where they will be filming. He said, "If I get it approved I'll be calling you Wed. night or Thur. morning." And I was like

Basically it will be parked in front of the home and he will be the only one driving it. Insured up to 1 million dollars. I get paid $75 for lettin them use it. Get a little free advertisement for the S and get my beautiful girl a break in the movie industry. We'll just have to see if they actually use it. I'll keep you guys informed.
Congrats!

It's always fun to work on a cool film. Harold & Kumar goes to White Castle was hilarious. Your description of the bong scene on the plane cracked me up. I can only imagine how it'll be once they edit it. $75 was way too low if the car will be prominently featured on screen for more than 3 secs. Did they shoot a lot of footage with it? If so, they may call you back and renegotiate usage fees. Don't worry about being non-union, any director can Taft-Hartley (exempt) you into their film as a principal if they clicked with you. They pay a fine for using non-union actors but it's only money to them.

Break a leg!

Yea, I know a few of the people who own the casting companies and they call me often. Just lately I'm understaffed and time off is hard to come by especially to do something I make less doing. Its worth the experience though. Gives you a lot of respect on how productions are made. One down side, I've never watched a movie the same anymore. I start focusing on how it was probably made more than the actual plot.

I would have been pumped to find out that my car became their car for the movie. The mustangs were their car from the beginning. And I say mustangs because they had two for the film. 1 was for outside cab scenes. The other had its tires deflated and was up on a special low-to-ground trailer with camera rigs built onto the trailer. Of course, this was used for in car views. I was driving home from work one day and passed the car up on the trailer. They were heading towards the scene and both Kal and John were sitting in the car.

Cool. Good excuse for me to tell my wife to see this movie. "But the S is in the movie, I don't care about all the nekkid women"

The S was used quite a bit in a Jennifer Love Hewitt movie several years ago. One of the best threads on this site becuase of her body shots. She had a smaller rear end back then.
