Default My S Smokes when getting on it?!?

I was playing with my hubby on the way home from getting an oil change on his EVO. I was in front of him and we both took off. He said that when I was shifting, puffs of smoke would come out of the exhaust. Well, I've never been behind my car when getting on it, so I dont know if this is normal.

I have 11,750 on him and he was broken in properly (700 before getting on him to 8500 rpm, and 650 mi for Vtec up to 8K) . We finally went to synthetic oil at 10,500 miles. Like I said, I've never been behind an S almost redlining it, so I dont know if this is normal. Oil level is perfect and clean.

Normal?!?

My guess is it will be dark/blackish. I have watched this on other s2k's when running hard.

The cause is from unburnt fuel in the exhaust system and ratehr harmless. (other than making your tips dark )

I agree with those in the discussion, the smoke ocurring at WOT sounds normal. I see it too on various cars that go to WOT.
From the previous 03 Cobra I had to the Audi S4 I drive daily.

If its black, it's carbon and it's normal.

if its a brief puff probably normal-
i have tailed several s2000s and have not seen white (moisture) or dark (oil or fuel) smoke on a car that is fully warmed up very often.
is your oil consumption pretty normal (after 10k miles with synthetic it should be pretty minimal)?
i would also check all plugs to make sure they are properly tightened.
