Just FYI, the problem was in fact a loose soft top latch. I wiggled the latches side to side and the one on the right had some play. I tightened the two bolts holding it in place down and the chirping has gone away! Hope this helps someone else that may develop the same problem.

I have to ck mine now,I thought it was the seat.

 

mine buzzes sometimes when the top is up. like a bee buzzing.

 

Mine does the same, I can do it in any gear
