I narrowed down the sound to my passenger side door, but I just can't pin point the exact sound because since the door is hollow, the sound just reverberates everywhere. I have the door panel off and drove it around a few block but still couldn't locate the source of the buzzing sound.

This only happens between 4K - 6K RPMs

Any help will be greatly appreciated

 

maybe check the passenger door seal ( I mean the piece that says S2000) just take it off and drive it. just a thought

 

I have the same problem. I have pulled the door panel off and its still there. I have no idea where it is coming from. I read somewhere that xviper had a similar problem and traced to the window track.

Someone Help.

 

Loose door speaker

 

check to be sure the passenger belt buckle is not hitting up against the door panel. it happens to me sometimes and it will buzz.

 

The exhaust runs right side of the tranny. I bet some noise is bouncing off the door. Check for heat shield about to come off

 

I had the top bolt for the front fender come loose and cause a horrible noise. Sounded like it was from the door though.

If anything just have someone else driver your car while you sit there and put your hand on as much stuff as possible until you find the source.
