i have the silverstone metallic w/ black interior. you aren't looking for the red dash and interior are you? i looked at some before i got mine and it was just too much for me.

so what's up with my carfax? i was hoping it was something glamorous like being a test car for Motor Trend (aside from the beating the motor would take) because it was one of the first s2000's off the boat in 1999.

it seemed to do some traveling too with the different locations it ended up in.

 

I don't know about the auction entries (all the way back to 1999? Was this car ever new?) but I'll bet that a dealership exec or owner used it as a personal car. The Honda dealer in Berkeley had an unregistered '03 when I was looking that had a little more than 9000 miles on the odo. The saleperson said that the car was the owner's wife's personal ride. They just slapped dlr pates to it.

 

Nah I'm going for the newer black dash/red carpet/red seat inserts/red door panel design. I have seen it and love it!



Yeah about the carfax I haven't the slightest man. But that odo discrepency would freak me out, personally.
