sorry to hear that

if u could go back and do it again knowing if u would have hit the woodchuck u would not have been injured.

would you?

...but as for the crash. That sucks, but I'm glad you and your buddy are okay. I hit a dog once in my Z. There were cars on either side of me...so even if I had wanted to swerve, I wouldn't have gotten too far.

It was pretty sad...I felt bad about it, but what can you do. A few hundred dollars later, in dent removal and paint, the car was as good as new.

Out of curiosity...how tall are you and your passenger?

I'm 6'1" and he was 5'9" He only walked away with whiplash, so it's better to be short than tall in a convertible.

that's what I worry about. I'm 6'2"...maybe 6'3" on a good day...and I swear my head is higher than the bars.

Anyway, sounds like I'd be in about your boat if, God Forbid, this ever happens to me.

Shaggy,

Thanks for posting this while you are off of work. I hope this might save someone else from some serious bodily damage.

The car is amazingly in tact for having rolled over 3 times. The rollbar along the top of the windshield also saved your life, check out that the windshield isn't even cracked !, unbelievable. During rollovers the car is designed to be perched on the front rollbar and the rear rollbars which can save your head from major injury in some instances.

Any crash you can walk away from is a good crash. Take care.
