My S2000 Stolen!
Well this has to be everybody's nightmare my S2000 was stolen right form my parking lot Monday November 25th between 12:30 and 7:00 am.
I'm still in shock I can't believe a tow truck actually came in here and lifted the car up and took away without anybody seeing it. I can see the marks on the pavement of where it was lifted.
If anybody has any ideas on how to track these cars it would be much appreciated. Also all you S2000 owners might want to invest into a alarm that is triggered when the car is lifted.
Man am I ever bummed....Vin

Hey Vin,
There is a pink one in the follow up to your movie The Fast and the Furious. Maybe they would give it to you at a good price.
Seriously though, if your s was stolen, I hope they find the bastards and your car hasn't been hurt.
....but if you do get the pink one please either blow it up, or restore it to s2000 glory!

Same thing happened to me in San Francisco back in 97 while I was out clubbing. It was a modded Si with nice black 5 zigen rims. I actually parked near a Bank of America ATM then when I came out it was gone. I had an alarm, the club, and disconnected my ignition coil but they were still able to take it because they towed it. Fortunately they found it in SF the next day since they weren't able to start it according to SFPD. They said if they were able to start it, it would've been stripped totally in Oakland were all the chop shops are. I checked ignition coil and it was still disconnected so knew it was towed. Do cops even know that these crooks have ties to tow companies or do these crooks own their own tow trucks?

I privately replied, but here it is again.
Have you checked with your towing service that patrols your apt complex? I have had my S2000 towed twice by them. Just contact your leasing office for their number. Very few people steal cars with tow trucks.
