How easy are these cars stolen? My insurance claim agent said the car has a "sophisticated anti-theft" system and that without the key, the thief MUST have towed it away. Is this true?
complete and utter BS. You don't need a key at all.

Sorry for your loss. I too had a car stolen last month. It was crazy. 11:30 at night I get a knock on the door and two police inform me they have recovered my car.
Didn't even know it was gone.
Hope you get it worked out soon.

Now would be a good time to check on whoever/where you bought the car from
He purchased it from a Honda dealer .. not a shady shop or private sales.

I know. I wanted an Integra GSR for a long time but could never purchase one due to the high theft rate of any vtec Integra or even Integras in general. I purchased the S2000 after lots of searches and questions on this forum about theft. I knew they took the seats but now they're after the whole car. ...I guess the only real safe Honda is the EP3 SI...no one wants those
