About a year ago a squirrel chewed up the wiring harness on our Benz. We got the Benz fixed, and they hit the Jag. A couple small cloth bags of mothballs under the hood of each car has stopped the attacks.

However, I arrived at Drift Fury Round One this year with a huge dead rat under my hood. He chewed through the wire to the AC water pump, but apparently hung around too long and died from the heat during the ride to the event.

Squirrels have become a major source of all sorts of problems in this area, and I've started taking them out with a .177 cal. air rifle.

That's pretty funny. At least the squirrels have good taste.

Damn, and I was just thinking of a snake under the hood to take care of the rodent problem.

Back to the drawing board.
