I always found it cruel to ask for the parts of a totalled car, but what the heck. Are you selling your rims/tires?

glad you're going to be alright. I had a similar wreck a few years back in a 325i. I hit the center concrete divider head on going 65 in about 2 inches of snow. My passengers and I were alright. I cut my forehead a bit but not even worthy of stitches. Mine was a total and insurance took care of me well! Have fun with your '06! I can't link you to the blue but i've seen it and it looks smooth...get it and post pics!!

The direction of momentum upon impact with the wall was not necessarily 80 mph. Sure, initially he may have been going 80 mph "parallel" to the wall but not toward the wall upon impact. I honestly don't believe his direction of momentum was 100% perpendicular to the wall, or in other word's, his direction of momentum was not 90 degree's to the wall upon imact.

You ever hear of Tommy Kendall? He crashed a GTP racecar at 100 mph "directly" into a wall about 10 year's ago. His leg's will never be the same.

This isn't a laughing matter.
Very well said. I'm glad to hear you're ok Lazy.

As far as parting out the car, don't you usually have to pay the insurance company a bit of money first before you can take anything out of the car?

glad your ok, but i dont understand how you crashed, did the metal object lock up one of your wheels of did you panic and swerve and lose control? or was it like a big metal block object that got stuck?
