First thing you should do is see if your getting gas into the cylinders. Pull a plug after you've tried starting the S2k again and see if it's dry or wet. My betting is that your getting fire to the plug but for some reason no gas. If the plug is dry, get some starting fluid and squirt it into that cylinder, put the plug on and see if it fires when you try cranking the engine again. This may do it or you may have to get more starting fluid in to more than one cylinder.
If the plug was wet, then air dry all four plugs. If after drying, you still have no luck, then you'll have to see if your getting spark. Pull a plug. Ground plug by way of vise-grips or something similar to the car body. Look for a nice blue spark. If none, you have an ignition problem. NOT LIKELY! Be aware that if you keep cranking your engine, your battery will be getting weaker. It would be nice to have a battey charger around!

Good luck JO

Just a thought but my friend had a similar problem. Turned out his wife had filled the tank and did not properly close the cap. Verify your cap has at least three clicks when closed. My friends started right up after that......

A Porsche Boxster had the same problem after storage time and the dealer found no reason after the car finally started ok. The last in the thread said possibly sticking valves.

Try your 2nd key?

You don't have one of those Mobil One pass things on your keyring do you? That's done it to others.

Check your air filter and intake to make sure in has not become a cold weather condo for the local animal population. If it has put steel wool in a zip lock and stuff it into the intake and exhaust to keep out the unwanted.

My 4-wheeler locked up all four wheels a few weeks ago, I new something was very wrong. After about an hours work pulling off the clutch housing I found it filled with all kinds of very hard nuts. Thanks Mr squirrel!

Did you look to see if your gas lines were frozen. With the changes in climate in NJ condensation accumulates in the gas and can freeze the lines.

Unless you had you gas tank near full, it is properly water build-up due to condensation in the fuel lines ...
