Default My winter setup so far

Winter setup:
17*7 '07 Civic Si rims (had to get the fronts bored out from 64mm to 70.1mm iirc))
Studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta (205s all around)
0W30 Redline
Come alone winch in the trunk. I'm waiting for the day a jeep is off the road and I can use the S as an anchor and ratchet the truck out of a ditch Hasn't happened yet.

I'm located in southern NH/ northern MA, have had no driving issues. The only thing I have encountered was when it was raining and then quickly dropped in temp, my drivers side door locking mechanism froze (thread found here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/677...r-frozen-shut/ ). I ended up having to go in through the passenger door and once the car warmed up she opened up, has not happened again. I have had multiple 12+ inch snow falls (I'll let you know how the soft top holds up to this abuse in a few years) if I had a garage she would be in it.

Has anyone else had any winter issues to share with those who may want to drive the S in the winter? Personally I think it is phenomenal with the right tires. Sometimes I wish I could lock the LSD but I can't complain!

This was after my drive in this morning.. about 3% of my office is in today.. slackers.

and by time I left work..

That's cool, but I can work from home, or anywhere I can get connected to the web. Don't really see the point in being out in bad weather if I can avoid it.

Fair enough.. I don't so much consider it bad weather, but practice. I find it beneficial to be able to hit the edge of traction at such slow speeds to practice and understand how the car acts. Of course, it is slowed waaayyyy down in the snow so not good for reaction practice but something I think everyone should be comfortable in. I grew up in upstate NY (Rochester area) so this is just what driving is for part of the year.

Actually looks good with the Si wheels! Then again those are my favorite Si wheels from the last few years.
Did you have a machine shop bore the fronts out?
