Default My yellowing plastic window...

I didn't really mind much over the Summer since I'm 99% top down; But now, it is sadly top up weather for me.

How do I get rid of this yellowing, I don't even know what it is or what it got there. I do know it does not want to get off. I have tried scrubbing and scrubbing with all my strength using Plast-X, and nothing.

Any inside s2000 tip/tricks I do not know about?

Disclaimer - I am saving up for the glass top conversion, but as of right now I am not financially capable.

That looks pretty brutalized.

You tried Plast-X on both the inside and outside?

Might try Plexus. I think it's a bit stronger.

If you have a friend handy, have him hold some cardboard against the opposite side (maybe wrap it in a towel to prevent more scratching) so you can press a little harder?

That sucks. First your car's plastic window is dirty, and then your dad scraped the front of your S.

the mequiars plast-x will work pretty good. apply with a round wax thingy on the inside and out, although its not forever so you'll have to do it often. i noticed mine stopped when i tinted the window...

Years ago, I was driving a Corvette convertable on an extended trip and ran into snow in Ga. I stopped for fuel and decided to wipe the snow off the rear plastic window and grabbed a somewhat greasy rag out of the car to do this. It wasn't immediate but within a few days the damage was appearent. The lesson I learned is that nothing should be used to clean a plastic window except and absolutly clean cloth.
