Default MY04, 690miles

Good deal, great deal? My buddy might be jumping into our side of the pool! He found a dealer that has a MY04, driven for 690 miles, offered for 28k. What do you guys think? Keep searching or break out the checkbook asap?

Was the car ever titled? Where did those 690 miles come from?

Clean title. I checked the Carfax. No accidents, no salvage, no lemon etc... Registered to a personal owner in Nevada back in late 2003. No idea where the miles came from. Guess the guy never really drove it. Kinda strange though.

Honestly wish I knew. Besides the dealer doing their "250point Inspection", what else can my buddy do to check it out?

I just bought a 2003 w/615 miles on the clock. Never registered or titled. I paid $25,000

You can get a new 04 for 29k, so 28k seems a little steep.
