Default MY04 aftermarket exhaust????

ive searched the site i cant seem to find any info so i started a thread. if anyone has an 04 with an aftermarket exhaust what kind is it, how do you like it, where did you get it, and how much was it?

the only company i know that has an actual 04 exhaust is comptech. i really dont care for this style of exhaust. i was leaning toward a dual canister style setup. my top choice is the spugen dual titanium dual canister. if it would fit then thats the one i want.

any info is helpful.

BRING ON THE RESPONSES!!!

I have seen another MY04 put a Spugen exhaust and the guy kept his original exhaust tips. That's the route I will probably go as well. The OEM tips on the 04 are really nice and I would keep them.

The Comptech isn't a dual canister?

Maybe your definition of a canister is different from mine

I just put the Mugen duals on my 04 and love 'em. Instead of a polished bling bling look, which is fine, the canisters are kind of industrial looking. Guess it's cause they're titanium. The tips are pretty large but look cool; they've got a blue flamed edge, which which looks great against Suzuka blue paint.

The system is around 25 lb's lighter than stock and sounds great.

Got it at Kingsport.

Amuse produce an 04 version of the R1 - I've got the dual on order

(It's the same as the 99-03 exhaust save that the hangers are different, to accommodate the changed rear valance on the 04)

HKS Hiper is what I have and I love it. Sounds a little bit Ferrarish to me. Some people dont like the HKS but it sounds good to me.

Do you have any pics of this? I was wondering what kind of spugen exhaust did he use?
