My'04 Break-in Oil Level Checking
I've read several members recommending checking the oil level during the break-in period. In the event that the motor requires additional oil, which oil is best to use? Synthetic? Dino? What type and viscosity of oil does the car come from the factory with?
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks,
Mike

The factory fill has been shown to be regular Mobil 10W-30 with a heavy dose of molybdenum.
My car didn't burn any oil, including the first track day I did at Laguna Seca at 1100 miles.
It doesn't really matter what you top it up with, oils should all be compatible with each other.
welcome to the Boards, mike and congrats on a good color choice.
