Default MY04 Centre Console removal

Has anyone taked off the centre Console on an 04? If so how, as it looks a bit more complex that the 00-03. I need to remove to run a wire into the cup holder/storage area.

Thanks

It is really easy...

8 clips...1 at each corner of the elbow rest and 1 at each corner of the stick.

Carefully slide a pry tool under the edge and just work your way around.

Just found this, and I'm looking to do the same - do you have to remove the gearknob first?

Yes to take the panel off entirely you will.

14mm

I was able to remove my console just by using my fingers and starting at the rear of the armrest...very easy.
