Thumbs up MY05 - Is anyone buying one?

It seems that most people are trying to pick up the last of the MY04's and there's very little talk about MY05. Is anyone planning on trading up?

Has anyone placed an order for one? If so, when is it arriving?

What kind of pricing are you getting?

Thanks.

Most people are trying to get 04's because they are cheaper...

Honda hasn't even hinted any changes for the 05' year...

I should be getting a MY05 in the next few months...shooting for around 30k - 30.5k + ttt

I rather have a MY05 than MY04 at this time considering the "cheaper" price they are giving isn't enough to make me satisfied with a "year older" vehicle.

i'd need the MY04 to be at $28K to consider getting that over the MY05....

I guess it really depends on where you live. No one is SoCal is budging much on their pricing of their 04's. If you're gonna pay the same amount of money I'd rather have an 04 over an 05 anyday of the week. $28k is well under invoice though, is that price even possible?

Someone on these forums recently said that the 05 JDMs will have slightly different head lights. I believe he said that the amber reflectors were going to be cleared out. Is there any truth to this? Anyone have any way of finding out?

I plan to buy in Janurary - a good time in Washington for the S2000
By that time I think that 04s would be hard to find - I want the Suzuka Blue with Blue top and a Blue hard top to drive it home

I have been waiting for 5 years to buy and my time will soon come. My biggest dilema is to buy 2005 or used. There seem to be many used, low mile s2k available. I do not plan to sell after I buy; once in a lifetime purchase - so I tell my wife
