Default question about the new key for 04

When I bought my new S I received 2 master keys, a plain key and a key with s2000 logo on it. However, I've noticed my key with the s2000 logo is peeling off on the back of the logo. Anyways, I was trying to get a new replacement key from the dealer and they told me I couldn't order one. It only comes with the car. Is this true? Or does anyone know where I can get one?

thanks

You can buy one of the nice ones but they're $75 from the dealer.

I wish we got a key like the 04 accord, that has the keyless entry transmitter built into it. I hate when the key fob rubs on my knee.

Well, to answer you question, a few days ago I took my accord in for some service. While I was there, I had the 04 master key with me, the one with the s2000 logo etc...i went to the parts department to see if i could get another one made, they told me they key itself the one with the s2000 logo, would run about 130-175 i forgot what the exact numbers where and that they had to order it, they didn't have it in stock and also after paying for the key, you would have to pay another 50-80 bucks to get the key program....hope that helps. I have a 2004 m3 and my master key would cost me 300 dollars to be made, i don't know why honda is charhing soo much.
