I'm curious as to why you would put an AEM intake on your car if you have the cash for a Mugen or Amuse exhaust? Just asking is all....

btw....Mugen It's what I chose!!

Salty Dog Rules!

lol back on topic. I prefer AEM intakes... i dont know why, i just do. i always have and i have used them on several applications. This is my first honda.

I dont believe 2-5 hp is a significant enough difference in power vs cost. Aem V2 = $150-250, Mugen = 1 Billion dollar intake... i think not! (lol i know its way less than that, but i tend to exaggerate (sp?)).

As for exhaust. Ill spend whatever necessary to make it SOUND nice, and not drone or be too rice loud... i hate those. Mugen i have heard is very nice. But i still cannot find it for sale anywhere that speaks english! i find it in japanese and price is in Yen or something...

help?

yep, looked at the mugen on king's website. Probably going to go with that one unless someone can find a better for cheaper option.

I think the Mugen sounds good (not great due to some droning on the hwy) but doesn't look so hot. The AP1 Mugen exhaust seems to flow with the car better than the bigger tipped AP2 Mugen exhaust.
