MY06 Thermo Switch Different

Just a heads up for all the 06 drivers looking to do thermo mods. The MY06 thermo swicth is different than previous years. Waiting to hear back from King Motorsports on what the correct part number is for MY06. Keep you guys posted.

You mean the Mugen one? Are they going to make a Mugen thermo for the 06? A lot of things seem to not fit in the 06, like my Mugen gas cap that I got, but doesn't fit.

I thought that the '06 doesn't have a thermal switch. I think it is controlled by the ECU. Correct me if I'm wrong.

yes it's not the same form 04 and 05. The 06 is compleatly different the 07 is going to be the same animal as the 06

That's correct, the fan switch on the 2006 is controlled by the ECU. In order to change when the fans kick on and how long they stay on, you'd have to reflash.
