If I would get a 03 modle and wanted to sell it later on when this new model is released, what would the resale be on 2000-2004 be? Also now if its a continuous line of car wouldn't be less exclusive, and be more common like BMW 330ci Conv.?

I kind of wonder that too (the first time people speculated a S2000 re-design) but after a little thought I don't think that is the case. It wouldn't surprise me if the S2000 was followed up with a S2200 (and even more after that) since the original S series started with a S360, then went on to S500, S600, and even S800. Currently the car is still a limited production* car mainly because it's still built at the Tochigi plant which isn't setup to crank out the mega numbers (like you see with Civics and Accords) and I really wouldn't expect that to change. Ultimately time will tell...

*I know some people will argue, but just wait and see how many 350Zs will be on the road after just one model year of production.

I still want an MY2002 or MY2003 but, after i get it, i could use it for a beater for the MY2005

Seems to me that 2004 would make more sense..it would keep with the "typical" 4 year design cycle.

Maybe it's just me?
Maybe it will be a 2005 model but it will come out in 2004
