I love when these threads come back from the dead.

Hey enthralled, guess what?

- I actually was able to read when the last post was submitted... and through basic subtraction I'm sure I could have came to the realization that the thread ended over 8 years ago.

It so happens that I don't really care when the thread ended... I more so care about if the car has memory for this. Perhaps a yes or no would have been less time consuming than being a smart ass.

not trying to be a smart ASS, just letting you know the thread starter probably sold his S2000. he hasn't posted since Mar 9 2005 @ 04:28 PM. you will most likely not get an answer from him. that is all. either look in your manual or start a new thread is what I wa trying to say.

Doesnt look like a question directed at OP.

Just help the person and move on.

I can't speak for all the moderators, but IMO, threads containing old information never lose their value, and are worth reviving from time to time.

Found a lot of stuff on old threads myself ... and continue to post on them makes the database less cluttered with new topics

Do the lights dim back down if you turn the headlights off? If this was the case... I'm assuming you need to keep holding that button anytime you want the brighter light?
To answer your question...If you hold down the + button for several seconds(3 or so) until the tach lights up brightly, It will stay that way until you try and fiddle with it again by pressing the - button or disconnect your battery for any reason, in which case I believe it goes back to the programmed factory setting. Try it out...
