my car seemed to get a bit more responosive and better mileage at about 10,000 miles. which could be me getting used to it... it is still the great car it was after 3.5 years. did it get alot better...no, it has always been a great car.

At 9,500 miles now my car is running thru it's power band much cleaner and with more ease.
I'd, at least, say that at this point it is getting better - but, then again so am I driving it.

Either way I feel it was tighter when new and now runs free'r
(is that a word?).

^ I agree, but I think with the experience of driving the car it feels better because you can push it more and know what to expect from it .

I think that makes it appear like the car is getting stronger, but the driver is the one getting stronger

This is usually true with most engines. Once they get 10K or miles they seem to produce a little more hp. I guess all the parts are broken in and seated better.

We had a cold snap today after a couple of warm days. I decided to really get on the car, and I was amazed and even a bit scared at how fast it was.

I'd say it felt stronger today than ever. Of course the weather played a part, but it's good to know that 30,000 miles later my car is still fast.

Compare it to other cars of the same age, and I think it is better
