i am still na with a test pipe/ apexi exhaust and my car back fired for the first time ever last night going from 1st to second, this ever happen to anyone else?

 

Yeah i have a duel exhaust and sometimes when i shift into second i get a little backfire generally only when i have just started the car.

 

sometimes i get a loud back fire when i shift normally, but never when i am gunning it

 

This has been discussed a few times. It is actually not a back fire. IT is unburnt gases in the exhaust hitting the cold air when exiting and burning off. This happens with all kinds of cars if they have a rich mixture and usually that's due to a test pipe or high flow cat.
