since honda of japan offers nakamichi as an option, does anyone know if the nakamichi units here are able to use the remote controls without any modification?

I already have the Nak MB-75 in the garage not yet installed. I am waiting for repairs to be complete then if the weather cooperates I should be able to complete the install. As for dash controls I have pinky's mod. The Nak should be great, i'll let everyone know if pinky's mod works the dash controls. I wish I didn't have to use the infared remote thing but if it works without being in the way or ugly I'll be happy.

Cool, let us know how it goes...btw, how much did it set you back? What kind of speakers? And since you got Pinkys mod, without the mod, the dash controls won't work for sure?

Guess its time for me to step in. The mod should work for all radio's. Even the Nak line. It should be very stealth! Though it wont be invisable!

With out the mod the dash controls definitly wont work. Just when installing make sure that you get that eye inside the door area because its line of sight!

I am working on a new sight but my sig has the best info I can convey at this point in time.

The NAK MB-75 changer/head unit set me back $540 although I could have had it for 500 if I paid cash.
Boston Pro 6.5 $350
Mamphis CA150 (amp) $225
Undecided about the sub.
Also undecided if I want to let the vendor do the install. They never did an s2000. I feel I would have to watch everthing make sure they did not drive, show them how to take the car apart etc.
